“The Apple Does Not Fall Too Far From The Tree”

In 1974, after Captaining the #HersheyBears to another #CalderCup, my Father retired and took a last place #Team ( IHL Fort Wayne Komets ) to the #Playoffs that same year.

#Transitioning from a #Player to a #Coach is not an easy move for numerous reasons but my Father, like me, had tenacity and grit and class and Pure Love of the game and love for his players so he just focused on #winning one game at a time and putting his players in the right place and providing the #tools for his team to succeed.

My one year, coming up fast, here at Savannah Lakes Village has been an identical #story. The transition from a #Chef to a #Director of #FoodAndBeverage has not been easy but we’ve “dug in the corners” “back checked” “fought tough” “played smart” and “played as “good sports” and together have had great #Results as a team.

PS. My Dad would have loved #LinkedIn that’s the kind of guy he was. #Sharing how others can be #passionate about what we do !!
